There is no better way to celebrate a summer birthday than be making an ice cream cone birthday cake. It brings the best of two worlds together. The above infographic highlights the four step process to creating this one of a kind cake.
Simply divide a box of cake batter among 24 muffin cups and place an ice cream cone upside down on the batter of each cup. Bake for 16 to 22 minutes based on the directions on the back of the box for your oven temperature. When done, turn the cupcakes right side up, decorate, and customize. Add your finishing touch with some unique toppings such as crushed candies, nuts, or fruit.
