Krazy glue is meant to keep things together. But what happens if you accidentally get it on your hand or body? Here are 6 ways on how to remove krazy glue from skin that are easy and cheap.
1. Warm Soapy Water.
It may take several washes in warm soapy water to remove any glue residue. You can use tap water and basic bottle soap.
2. Nail Polish Remover.
You will need to use an acetone based nail polish remover in order for it to be effective. Wear gloves and a mask when using. Apply nail polish remover to a round cotton pad and rub the area of the skin that is effected. Peal any remaining glue after the removed dissolves.
3. Petroleum Jelly.
Spend several minutes massaging the effected area covered in krazy glue with petroleum jelly. The glue should start to come off. Peel off any remaining parts. When done, wash with soap and water to clean.
4. Vegetable Oil.
Apply vegetable oil to a cloth and rub against the skin until it becomes clean. You can also use baby oil to remove glue residue.
5. WD-40.
Spray WD-40 to a cloth and hold against your skin for a few minutes and see if the glue residue loosens and is removed.
6. Hand Lotion.
Apply hand lotion to the skin and continue to rub until the glue starts to become lifted.
